Boko haram beheads 7 in Borno state

7 people have reportedly been left dead after they were beheaded by Boko Haram insurgents on Monday, October 6 in Ngamdu, Borno state.
The brutal killings occurred during an overnight raid and residents confirmed to Vanguard that they woke up to discover the corpses.
A member of the community, Musa Abor said:
The gunmen “slit their (victims) throats just the way people slaughter goats”
Abor also added that the victims had been beheaded, a claim which was reportedly confirmed by an official of the state.
Boko Haram recently released a video in which the group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau dismisses claims of his death and the beheading of a Nigerian pilot is shown.
