It was a moment  that caused controversy around the world when Kanye West stopped his concert to  wait for a fan to get on their feet - before realising they were in a  wheelchair 
And now new video  footage has emerged showing exactly what happened at the 37-year-old's Friday  gig at the Sydney Credit Union Arena. 
Kanye stopped in  the middle of hit song Good Life and said he wouldn't continue until every fan  in the arena was on their feet, and sent bodyguard Pascal Duvier to verify that  the seated fans were in fact wheelchair bound.

'I can't do this  song, I can't do this show until everybody stand up,' he said, saying fans were  only exempt if 'you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and  s**t.'

When the musician  saw a concertgoer waving a prosthetic limb to explain why they weren't dancing,  he acknowledged them, saying: 'Okay, you fine!'
But when another  fan remained seated, he said 'this is the longest I've had to wait to do a song,  it's unbelievable,' before sending Pascal to check whether the person was in  fact in a wheelchair - which they were.
The German  bodyguard, who is often seen side-by-side with Kim Kardashian, confirmed this to  Kanye and the musical star kicked into action, starting Good Life from the  beginning.

The incident comes  after The Bound 2 artist was criticised for his comments at his Melbourne show  at Rod Laver Arena earlier in the week for making similar statements.
'I can't go on  with this song if there's people in here sitting down unless y'all sitting down  because y'all handicapped,' he said.
'Unless y'all have  handicapped parking?' 
However, in  previous concerts Kanye has gone out of his way to assist disabled fans, in June  asking his security to give a fan in a wheelchair his microphone as a  gift.
'I was in the  second row,' US fan Eliiot Briones told E! News. 'There were a lot of people  blocking me, and Kanye noticed. Kanye told the security guard to give me the  mic.'  
Although he didn't  meet Kanye, he said the gesture at the show in Texas still 'means a lot to me. I  don't know how to explain. It's just a humble experience.'

For his Sydney  show, Kanye sported a loose vest which showcased his muscular physique as he  owned the stage during throughout the night. 
With a few metallic  neck chains added to his ensemble, the Stronger rapper was certainly in his  element for the sensational show that is part of his Yeezus tour Down  Under.
As she has at his  previous Australian dates, 33-year-old Kim cheered her man on from the crowd,  enjoying the show from the sound check area in between the mosh and  the bleachers. 
Beating the crowd: Rushing off before the fans, Kim  strut her stuff as she left 20 minutes early 
Kim, Kanye and  North were seen jetting out of Sydney on Monday morning, with baby North  following in her father's fahsionable footsteps.
The one-year-old  was seen wearing a camouflage bandanna on her head and an army green jacket   as she jetted out of Sydney to Brisbane, Australia with her world famous  parents. 
Meanwhile, Kim  looked stylish dressed all in black wearing a low-cut top, teamed with black  trousers and a super chic trenchcoat.
She teamed the  ensemble with a pair of strappy sandals and some dark shades completed her jet  set look.
On Sunday, the  visiting reality star and her 37-year-old rapper husband spent their sole day  off touring the Sydney's most exclusive boutiques.
