Time to change gear! Colombian women's cycling team appear to have had Brazilians in bizarre flesh-coloured kit

    

The six athletes appeared to be blissfully unaware of their startling appearance as they stepped on to the podium to reveal their new flesh-coloured strip design ahead of a race in Italy this week. The Colombian team, which is sponsored by the country's capital city of Bogota, was wearing the outfit to take part in a competition held in honour of former Italian champion, Michela Fanini, who died in 1994. It is unclear whether the design was a publicity stunt or a genuine fashion faux-pas but it has caused much of a stir on social media
